FCAA has more than 100 members throughout the Frederick, MD region--we hope you'll be the next one! Here's why you should join us:

• Shows: Our group shows allow members to display and sell their work.
• Education: You’ll learn from professional training workshops, presentations and lectures at our monthly meetings. Our members have a range of experiences—from those just starting out to long-time professionals—and work in varying styles with many media.  Joining FCAA is a great way to exposed to new ways of working.
• Special events: We offer a number of special events, including field trips, paintouts/sketching days, An annual picnic and a holiday party.
• Promotion: Not only will you learn how to promote your own work, but you’ll also have an opportunity to promote your work through our channels, including our online gallery and monthly newsletter.
• Networking: With artists from across the Greater Washington area and our affiliation with The Delaplaine Arts Center, our organization provides networking opportunities, whether it’s during one of our shows or field trips or via social media.
• Community support: FCAA contributes to the community through our scholarship program, city and town events, donations, and outreach events.

FCAA is an all-volunteer organization. From our president and board of directors, to those who organize gallery field trips, set up buffets at our shows and write posts for upcoming events, FCAA relies on the collaborative spirit of our membership to operate. Members who volunteer on our Board of Directors or committees will be able to submit two pieces of art in our free annual membership art show at The Delaplaine Art Center.
