Figure Drawing Session with Chris Madden
Please join us on May 9, 2022, 6:00pm for a figure drawing session led by FCAA Board Member, Chris Madden at the Delaplaine Arts Center.
The session will include a presentation by Chris, followed by a long pose session with a live model. Tables/easels will be provided, please bring your own art supplies.
Chris is a member of the Master Art Copyists- a group of dedicated painters selected to study (in person) the master works in the National Gallery of Art
Madden’s focus is now primarily on painting (oils), but in his long career he has been an Illustrator for the U.S. Army, a cartoonist/caricaturist, a teacher, and most impressively one of the very few Engraving craftsmen in the world trained and charged with creating the intaglio engraved images that adorn U.S. paper currency.
